At IFA 2022, we were able to get a good look at some of the new technology and the best smart home gadgets coming to market around the world. These devices range from a smart app that can help solve interoperability among smart appliances and HVACs systems to a smart projector that can fit into your shirt pocket.

1) Nokia X30 Smartphone

The Nokia X30 is a comeback to Nokia’s roots of producing high-quality devices that have a lot of different features. The 5G version has a Qualcomm chipset and will come with two cameras. The front camera is a 16MP camera, while the back camera is 50MP with a wide, 123-degree FOV that is competitive with industry leaders. It features six side buttons on the back and a joystick for gaming. For long-term storage, the 128GB of onboard storage with the option to expand to 512GB via MicroSD card should suffice.

Lenovo’s new Lenovo Glasses T1 wearable private display allows you to do this. In fact, this new generation of smart glasses features frames with built-in displays that can connect wirelessly to smartphones, tablets, and laptops through a full-function USB-C port. Also, the glasses feature excellent picture quality, high-efficiency options, and are lightweight. They are personal monitors you can carry in your shirt pocket.

Using Microsoft’s HoloLens integrated into Lenovo’s T1 wearable display, users can track hands and objects in virtual space with high-definition visuals at 120 frames per second. With the headset, you can also explore the content with both hands extended outwards or at your sides.

Lenovo Glasses T1 will be available in China in late 2022 and in select markets in 2023. There has been no price announcement.

A range of other incredible smart devices was on display at this year’s trade show including an incredible innovation by Korean technology company Samsung that allows homeowners to turn their house into a Wi-Fi hotspot using just an ordinary lamp post. 10) Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2

Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 is a compact, lightweight, and cordless vacuum cleaner. It uses new cyclone technology to pick up particles on any surface, with up to 80% more power than the original Dyson Ball Vacuum. The company spent six years developing the new model, which has 40% less suction power but 85% less weight. Dyson says it will be three times more efficient in picking up dirt and debris around the home than its predecessor.
